Job notification in National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for Asst Professor, Coordinator & Engineer Posts.Eligible candidates can walk in on 14-10-2016 from 11:00 AM onwards for Post 1 & 17-10-2016 from 10:30 AM onwards for Post 2 & 3.


Assistant Professor (Mathematics & Physical Education): 02 Posts
Technical Coordinator: 01 Post
Engineer: 01 Post
Candidates age should be in 35 years for Post 2 & 3. Age relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Women candidates is applicable as per GOI/ NCERT rules
Candidates should possess Master Degree level in relevant subject with at least 55% marks from an Indian University/ an equivalent Degree from a foregn University & have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET)/ SLET in relevant subject conducted by UGC/ CSIR for Post 1, Degree in ECE/ M.Sc Degree in physics with wireless communication/ electronics for Post 2 & Engineering recongnised by govt of India/ Degree with Physics for Post 3.
Candidates will be selected based on interview
For Post 1: Eligible candidates can send their advance copy of bio data by email to neerie.ncert@gmail.com & walk in along with resume & original certificates on 14-10-2016 from 11:00 AM onwards.

For Post 2 & 3: Eligible candidates can walk in along with bio data/ application in prescribed format, rescent passprt size photograph, original & self attested copies of testimonials in proof of age, caste certificate at instiute on 17-10-2016 from 10:30 AM onwards .

About NERIE:
The historical backdrop of commencement of North East Regional Institute of Education goes back to the year 1982. The 'Team' of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) headed by Madhuri Shah made a suggestion to set up a Regional Center for NCERT in the north east. It was felt that the Regional College at Bhubaneswar was in no position to care for the necessities of the north east which are one of a kind as well as require need consideration in the setting of socio-political circumstance. In any case, it is in the year 1995 that the thought of making a different Regional Institute of Education for the north east was mooted by amalgamating the then Field Units of NCERT at Guwahati and Shillong. At this crossroads the Council named an One-man Committee under the Chairmanship of Prof. C.L. Anand, previous Vice Chancellor, Arunachal University to set up a "Blue Print" regarding the setting up of a Regional Institute of Education (RIE) of the NCERT for the North East at Shillong.
