NEIGRIHMS Recruitment 2016 - for Senior Resident Doctor,Junior Resident Doctor Posts

Job notification in North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) the recruitment of 41 Senior Resident & Junior Resident Doctors vacancies in various departments. Eligible candidates may attend for walk in interview on 29-11-2016 from11.00 AM on wards.


Senior Resident Doctor: 28 Posts
Junior Resident Doctor: 13 Posts
Candidates age should be 33 years for S.No-1, 30 years for S.No-2 as on the date of interview. Age relaxation 05 years is applicable to SC/ ST, 3 years is applicable to OBC & for physically handicapped candidates as per GOI norms.
Candidates should possess post graduation degree or Diploma in respective subject recognized by MCI after obtaining a medical qualification included in the schedule I & II of the 3 rd schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 for S.No-1 & Medical qualification included in the schedule ? I & II of the 3 rd schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 for S.No-2 & must be registered with State Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.
Candidates will be selected based on interview.
Eligible candidates may attend for walk in interview with an application, duly attested copies of all relevant certificates as mentioned in the notification & originals on 29-11-2016 from 11.00 AM on wards.

About NEIGRIHMS: NEIGRIHMS was made by the Government of India in 1987. It has been encircled as a Postgraduate Medical Institute in parentage of AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh. It is the First Postgraduate Medical Institute in the North Eastern Region and the Third in the Country set up by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The Institute was picked as a Society on twelfth January 1987 by the Registrar of Societies, Meghalaya, Shillong under the name of : "North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences". On January 22, 2000, then Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee reported NEIGRIHMS as a 'Relationship of National Importance'. The Institute was furthermore reported as a "Relationship of Excellence" by an Act of Parliament vide Gazette of India Notification dated fourth January 2007, the crucial Medical Institute that has been given such a status in the country.
