NARL Recruitment 2017 - for Junior Research Fellow Posts

Job notification in National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL) for Junior Research Fellow Posts.Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed application format within 30 days from the date of advt.


Junior Research Fellow
Candidates age should be less than 30 years on the last date fixed for receipt of applications. Age relaxation 5 years is applicable to SC/ ST candidates & 3 years for OBC candidates & for other refer notification.
Candidates should possess Post Graduation degree in Physics/ Atmospheric Physics/ Space Physics with 60% marks or equivalent grade and qualified in CSIR-UGC NET/ GATE/ JAM/ JEST.
Candidates will be selected based on Test/ Interview.

About NARL:
NARL is an independent research lab completely subsidized by the Department of Space, Government of India and included in doing basic and connected research in Atmospheric and Space Sciences. It had its unassuming start in 1992 as the National Mesosphere-Stratosphere-Troposphere(MST) Radar Facility. Throughout the years a few correlative methods, for example, Rayleigh/Mie lidars, wind profilers have been included. NARL is regulated by a Governing Council with Secretary, DOS as the Chairman and Director, NARL as part secretary. The Governing Council sets expansive arrangement rules for NARL. A Scientific Advisory Committee comprising of prominent researchers in the field of climatic science, screens the examination exercises and advance of NARL and gives future headings.
