Candidates age limit should be not exceeding 57 years for Post No. 01 to 04, 45 years for Post No. 05, 40 years for Post No. 06 to 16 & 35 years for Post No. 17 to 24.
Candidates should possess A Masters Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scale for Post No. 01 to 03, 05 & 06 Masters Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record for Post No. 04, M.Sc (IT) with PGDCA or M.Tech/ MCA for Post No. 07 with relevant experience. For more qualification details refer the notification.
Candidates will be selected based on interview for Post No. 01 to 05, Written Examination followed by Interview for Post No. 06 & 07, Merit in Written Examination for Post No. 08, 09, 11, 12, 14 to 20 & 22 to 24 and Merit in Written Examination followed by Skill Test for Post No. 10, 13 & 21.
Candidates should pay Rs. 1000/- for General/ OBC candidates through online or Off line. No fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Women candidates.
Online Mode for Post No. 01 to 03 & 05 to 24: Candidates should pay fee through online by using Internet Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card.
Off Line Mode for Post No. 04: Candidates should pay fee through demand draft drawn in favour of Mahatma Gandhi Central University payable at Motihari, District East Champaran, Bihar only.
Eligible candidates may apply Online or Off Line.
Online Mode for Post No. 01 to 03 & 05 to 24: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.mgcub.ac.in from 08-06-2017 to 03-07-2017 by 23:59 hrs.

About MGCUB :

Mahatma Gandhi Central University is a public central university located in Motihari, Bihar.Now there are about 70 Faculty members.18 different departments have been established with undergraduate courses ranging from traditional disciplines like Hindi and English to advanced courses like Management Studies and Biotechnology.The temporary campus of Central University is presently located within the Zila School Campus. The land for the permanent campus has been acquired at Fursatpur, 6 km from the present campus.
