MPPSC Recruitment 2017-Apply Online for Archaeologist,Curator & Scientific Officer Posts

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has invited applications for the recruitment of Archaeologist, Curator & Scientific Officer vacancies on temporary basis. Eligible candidates may apply online from 10-08-2017 to 09-09-2017.

1. Archaeologist: 03 posts
2. Curator: 06 posts
3. Scientific Officer: 01 post
Candidates age limit should be between 21 – 28 years as on 01-01-2018. Age relaxation is admissible for Resident of Madhya Pradesh candidates as per rules.
Candidates should posses M.A. in Indian History, Sanskrit & Archaeology for Post No.1 & 2 (ST), M.A. in Indian History, Sanskrit & Archaeology/ Equivalent B.A. Honours with 03 years experience in relevant field for Post No.1 & 2 (UR/ OBC (Non creamy layer), PG with Chemistry/ Equivalent for Post No.3.
Candidates will be selected based on Written Exam & Interview.
Candidates should pay Rs.500/- for all others and outside candidates of MP State and Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ OBC (Non Creamy layer) candidates of MP State through online using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ NET Banking. About MPPSC :

Consequent on the reorganization of States on 1st November 1956, eight districts of Madhya Pradesh have been transferred to the Bombay State and the remaining fourteen districts of the Madhya Pradesh  along with Madhya Bharat, Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh were merged to form the new Madhya Pradesh. As there was no Public Service Commission for the States of Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh, these being Part C States, and the recruitment for these States was being done by the Union Public Service Commission, the records of cases dealt with by the Union Public Service Commission for these two States  were not available to the new Commission.
