1. Lower Division Clerk: 1245 Posts
2. Panchyat Secretary: 1539 Posts
3. Stenographer: 24 Posts
Candidates age should be between 18 to 35 years for Unreserved, 37 years for EBC (Schedule- 1) & BC (Schedule-2) (Male), 38 years for Local Female candidates of Jharkhand (UR-EBC (Schedule-1) & BC (Schedule-2)), 40 years for SC/ ST (Male & Female) as on 25-01-2016. Age relaxation is applicable as per govt. rules. Refer the notification for complete details.
Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 Exam with typing speed in Hindi 25 wpm on Computer for Post No. 01, Intermediate/10+2 Exam and Knowledge of Computer for Post No. 02 & passed Intermediate/ 10+2 Exam with steno speed 100 wpm and typing speed in Hindi 30 wpm for Post No. 03.
Candidates will be selected based on written exam and typing test.
Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.jssc.in from 02-05-2017 to 15-06-2017 till 11:59 PM (Extended Up to 09-07-2017).

About JSSC:


The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission(J.S.S.C.) has been constituted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Act 2008 (Jharkhand Act 16, 2008) which was published vide Gazette notification no. 829 dt. 6 December 2008 of Jharkhand Government. The Act was amended by Jharkhand Act 03,2011 and Jharkhand Act 19,2011; published vide Gazette notification nos. 153 dt. 24 February 2011 and 687 dt. 11 October 2011 respectively.

Initially The Office of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission was located at Dhurwa, Ranchi, till 01-08-2016. Since the accommodation fell short of the actual requirements of the Commission, its office was shifted to Kalinagar, Chaay Bagan, Namkum, Ranchi, Jharkhand ? 834010 of which foundation stone was laid by then Hon?ble Chief Minister, Shri Hemant Soren and Later was inaugurated on 02.08.2016 by Hon?ble Chief Minsiter, Shri Raghuvar Das.
