Job notification in Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC), Jammu has announced a notification for the recruitment of 277 J&K Police (Gazetted) Service, Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service, & J&K Accounts(Gazetted) Service Posts. Eligible candidates can apply online from 28-08-2017 to 15-09-2017.

Candidates age should be 21 years but must not have crossed the age of 35 years.
Applicants have qualified the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2016, possess Bachelors Degree in any subject from a recognized University in India or from a Foreign University declared by Government in consultation with the Commission to be equivalent to a degree of a recognized University.
Based on written test and interview.
Candidates required to pay Rs.1005/- for General, Rs. 505/- for Reserved Categories/ PHC to be deposited in the J&K Bank Branch. The amount of fee payable shall include Rs.5/- as service charges for the J&K Bank. Eligible candidates can apply online through the website www.jkpsc.nic.in from 28-08-2017 to 15-09-2017.

About Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) :

Articles 315 to 323 in Part XIV of the Constitution of India provides for the establishment of Public Service Commission for the Union and a Public Service Commission for each State. The same set of Articles (i.e., 315 to 323 in Part XIV) of the Constitution also deal with the composition, appointment and removal of members,power and functions and independence of a Public Service Commission. Union Public Service Commission to conduct examinations for recruitment to all India services and higher Central services and to advise the President on disciplinary matters. State Public Service Commission in every state to conduct examinations for recruitment to state services and to advise the governor on disciplinary matters.
