Candidates should possess an eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification(s) in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline with minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/ college for S.No-1, Good Academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks ( or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master?s Degree level in relevant subject from an lndian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University, NET/ SET/ SLET for S.No-2, Good academic record with a Ph.D Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines, Master?s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) minimum of eight years of experience of teaching for S.No-3 & for other details refer the notification.
Candidates will be selected based on written test, interview.
Eligible candidates send their application in the prescribed format with recent passport size Photograph pasted (not pinned), attested copies of qualification certificates, testimonials, publications etc as mentioned in the notification clearly for each post should be sent only through registered post to the Assistant Registrar (Teaching Wing), First Floor, New Administrative Block, University of Jammu, Jammu (Tawi)-180006, J & K State on or before 31-01-2017.
