Indian Air Force Recruitment 2017 ? Apply for Group C Posts

Job notification in Indian Air Force has released notification for the recruitment of Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade), Fitter Mechanical Transport (A) (SK), Coppersmith & Sheet Metal Worker (C & SMW) posts on direct recruitment basis in Indian Air Force at HQ Maintenance Command Units. Eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed format on or before 05-09-2017.

1. Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade): 06 Posts
2. Fitter Mechanical Transport (A) (SK): 01 Post
3. Coppersmith & Sheet Metal Worker (C & SMW): 01 Post
Candidates age should be between 18 to 25 years. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PH candidates
Applicants should possess Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognized Board or university with valid civil driving licence for light and heavy vehicle for post 1, 10th pass from a recognized Board r institute with industrial Training Institute Certificate in Fitter Mechanical Transport/ Copper Smith and Sheet Metal Worker for post 2, with relevant experience for post 3.
Based on written test, skill/ practical/ physical test.
Eligible candidates may send their application typed in English/ Hindi in the prescribed format affixing self attested recent passport size photo on it along with attested copies of all relevant certificates, self addressed envelope with stamp Rs. 5/- pasted to the concerned Air Force Station on or before 12-09-2017. Superscribe the envelope as Application for the Post of-- and Category--.

About Indian Air Force :

The Indian Air Force was officially established on 8 October 1932.Its first ac flight came into being on 01 Apr 1933.  It possessed a strength of six RAF-trained officers and 19 Havai Sepoys (literally, air soldiers).   The aircraft inventory comprised of four Westland Wapiti IIA army co-operation biplanes at Drigh Road as the "A" Flight nucleus of the planned No.1 (Army Co- operation) Squadron.
