Candidates age limit should be between 18-25 years for S.No-2 to 15 & 18-27 years for S.No-1 as on last date for receipt of application. Relaxation of age will be applicable to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH/ Ex Serviceman/ Departmental Candidates/ Other eligible categories as per Central Government of India Rules
Candidates should possesss Matricualtion or its equivalent with 02 years Diploma in Mechanical Drawing or Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Draughtsmanship (Mehanical or Civil) from an Industrial Training Institute or equivalent for Draughtsman Grade III, Degree for Civ Edn Instructor & Supt (Store), 12th class or equivalent for Store Keeper & LDC, Matriculation for Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver, and Cook & Other Qualification details refer the notification.
Candidates will be selcted based on written examination.
Eligible candidates may send their dully typed application with recent photograph should be pasted on the application along with self attested copies of date of birth certificate, educational qualification certificate, experince certificate, caste certificate and self addressed envelope of size 24*11 cm in an envelope should be super scribed with "Application for the Post of-- in-- Unit--" to the Indian Air Force within 30 days from the date of advertisement.

The Indian Air Force was officially established on 8 October 1932.Its first ac flight came into being on 01 Apr 1933.It possessed a strength of six RAF-trained officers and 19 Havai Sepoys (literally, air soldiers).The aircraft inventory comprised of four Westland Wapiti IIA army co-operation biplanes at Drigh Road as the A Flight nucleus of the planned No.1 (Army Co-operation) Squadron.Four-and-a-half years later, A Flight was in action for the first time from Miranshah, in North Waziristan, to support Indian Army operations against insurgent Bhittani tribesmen.
