Candidates age should be 50 years for Post 1 to 3. 35 years for Post 4, 32 years for Post 5 & 6. 27 years for Post 7 to 13 as on the closing date of online submission of applications. Relaxation in age would be admissible as per Central Government Rules.
Candidates should possess M.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years experience or 1st class degree in B.E. or B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 6 year of relevant experience for Post 1.
1st class degree in B.E. or B.Tech Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, with a minimum of 5 year of relevant experience for Post 2.
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering of 3 year duration from a recognized Institute, University, Board, 5 year experience in relevant field as Junior Engineer in a government organization, Competence of Computer aided design and drafting software for Post 3.
Post Graduate Degree in Library Science from a recognized University for Post 4.
Bachelor?s Degree in Civil Engineering with 01 year relevant experience from a recognized Institute or University or Diploma in Civil Engineering of 03 Years duration with 03 years field experience.
Based on Written Test, Trade Test, Presentation and/ or Interview.
Candidates should pay Rs. 500 for the posts having Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400 and above, and of Rs. 250 for other posts (non refundable) through online only. No fee for SC/ ST, Physically Handicapped applicants and Ex-Servicemen.

About IIT Jodhpur:

The Indian Institute 0f Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur, IITJ), is a state funded college situated in Jodhpur in the condition of Rajasthan in India. It is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, administration of India under The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011 which pronounces these eight IITs and in addition the transformation of the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University to IIT.The Act was gone in the Lok Sabha on 24 March 2011 and by the Rajya Sabha on 30 April 2012.IIT Jodhpur was initially reported by the Central Government in July 2007, in spite of the fact that the formal declaration came in 2008, with IIT Kanpur coaching IIT Jodhpur. In July 2008, the first scholastic session of IIT Jodhpur started at the IIT Kanpur grounds, with 109 college understudies in Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
