Candidates age limit should be 35 years for men and 40 years for women for Post No. 02, 30 years for men and 35 years for women for Post No. 03 and between 21 ? 40 years for 01 & 02 as on 19-12-2016. Age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST, OBC candidates as per rules.
Candidates should possess B.Sc with Chemistry/ Biochemistry as one of the subject/ B. Sc (Ag)/ B.Sc. (Biotech) for Post No. 01, M. Sc (Ag) in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, M. Sc in Hotr/ Agri. with specialization in Vegetable Crops/ Genetics & Plant Breeding for Post No. 02, M.Sc.in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Life Science for Post No. 03 & B. Sc. (Biotech) Fresher with knowledge of techniques on a Biotech lab for Post No. 04 from recognized Institute/ University.
Candidates will be selected based on interview.

About IIHR: 
The Institute spread its circle of Research exercises to the length and expansiveness of the Nation by building up its trial stations at Lucknow, Nagpur, Ranchi, Godhra, Chettalli and Gonikopal. Throughout the years these analysis stations have developed in size and today they remain as autonomous establishments, notwithstanding, holding the Chettalli and Gonicoppal under its fold. Starting now, the IIHR has its fundamental examination station at Hessaraghatta, Bengaluru with 263 ha of area and Regional investigation stations at Bhuvaneshwar in Orissa and Chettalli in Karnataka with two Krishi Vigyan Kendras both situated in Karnataka state at Gonikopal in Kodagu and Hirehalli in Tumkur locale. Aside from this the Project Coordinating Cell of the All India Coordinated Research Project on Tropical Fruits is likewise situated at the organization at Bengaluru.
