Job notification in Institute of Advanced Study In Science and Technology (IASST)for recruitment of Scientist, SRF, JRF & RA Posts.Eligible candidates may apply online or offline on or before 31-12-2016.


Scientist-C Equivalent: 01 Post
Senior Research Fellow: 01 Post
Junior Research Fellow: 01 Post
Research Associate: 01 Post
Candidates age should be 35 years for Post 1, 28 years for Post 2, 3, 32 years for Post 4 as on the date of the application. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ Woman candidate as per govt rules.
Candidates should possess PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Zoology for Post 1, M.Pharm/ M.Tech for Post 2, M.Sc/ M.Tech/ M.Pharm degree for Post 3, PhD in Organic Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology for Post 4 with relevant experience.
Candidates are selected based on interview.

About IASST:
Foundation of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) is a head logical research association in the north-east area, imagined and sustained by the Assam Science Society in its underlying years and was initiated by Nobel Laureate Dorothy C. Hodgkin on third November 1979. In this way, it was bolstered by the state govt. as its exclusive independent R&D establish till March 2009. The establishment was assumed control in March, 2009 by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India as one of its self-sufficient R&D found.
