Candidates age limit should be 50 years and below for S.No-1, 45 years and below for S.No-2, 3 (S.No-A), S.No-B, C, D, H, 18 to 45 years for S.No-E, F, G, I Posts.
Candidates should Possess a recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act-1956, Holders of educational qualification(s) included in part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section-13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 for S.No-1 to 3 Posts (S.No-A), For more information refer the notification.
Based on applicants performance in written examination and interview/Personality Test.
Candidates should pay Rs. 400/- for General category & Rs. 100/- for S.C. of H.P./ S.T. of H.P./ O.B.C. of H.P candidates of HP through e-Challan at any branch of Punjab National Bank or through e-Payment option by using Debit or Credit Card of any Bank. No fee for Ex-Servicemen of H.P/ visually impaired candidates of H.P.

About Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission:


Himachal Pradesh attained statehood on 25th January, 1971. Prior to this date, the function of Public Service Commission in respect of the civil services and posts in connection with the affairs of the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh were being discharged by the Union Public Service Commission under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. It was, therefore, incumbent on the State to have its own Public Service Commission. However, since a State Public Service Commission could be constituted simultaneously with the attainment of Statehood, the Union Public Service Commission, on a request from the Governor of the State of Himachal Pradesh with the approval of the President of India, agreed to serve the needs of Himachal Pradesh till the establishment of a Public Service Commission for the State or for a period of three months from 25th January, 1971 whichever was earlier.
