Candidates age limit should be in between 18 to 40 years as on the last date of submission of application through online. Age relaxation is admissible 03 years for OBC categories, 05 years for SC/ ST, 10 years for PH candidates as per rules.
Candidates should have passed 10th standard from approved state boards by the respective State Govt/ Central Govt.
Selection will be made as per the automatic generated merit list.
Applicants required to pay Rs. 100/- for OC/ OBC Male candidates at any Head Post Office. All Female and SC/ ST candidates are exempted from this payment.

About Himachal Postal Circle:

Himachal Circle with its Headquarters at Shimla was carved out of the erstwhile N.W. Circle in December 1986. The Circle encompasses the entire State of Himachal Pradesh covering an area of 55673 Sq. Kms. It comprises 9 Postal Divisions, one R.M.S. Division, one Postal Stores Depot and the office of Director of Accounts (Postal).HP Postal Circle owns the pride to have highest post office in the world at "HIKKIM" (Altitude 14567 feet) under Rampur Bushahr Postal Division. 

Since the inception of the Circle, till March 2000, the Postmaster General of the status of Joint Secretary to the Government of India remained the administrative head of the Circle. With the upgradation of the post in March 2000, the Circle is now headed by Chief Postmaster General of the rank of Additional Secretary to the Government of India. At Circle Headquarters, the Chief Postmaster General is assisted by one Director Postal Services, Director (Accounts) and four other officers.
