Job notification in Gauhati High Court for 112 Stenographer Posts.Eligible candidates can apply online from 02-01-2017 from 10:00 am to 17-01-2017 till 05:00 PM.


Stenographer Grade- II: 39 Posts
Stenographer Grade- III: 73 Posts
Candidates age must be 18- 43 years for Unreserved, 18- 46 years for OBC/ MOBC, 18-48 years for SC/ ST, 18- 53 years for PwD candidates as on last date of receipt of applications. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Candidates should possess Graduation from a UGC recognized university, Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography/ Shorthand from ITI/ Polytechnic/ any other institute for Post 1, HS exam pass, Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography/ Shorthand from ITI/ Polytechnic/ any other institute for Post 2 & knowledge of Assam languages will be selected based on written exam/ skill test/ interview.

About Gauhati High Court:
The High Court is a Constitutional Court as far as Article 215. It is a Court of record and has every one of the forces of such Court including the ability to rebuff for Contempt of itself and for Contempt of Courts Subordinate to it. Each High Court comprise of a Chief Justice and such different Judges as the President of India every once in a while consider it essential. At present, the endorsed Judge quality of the Gauhati High Court is 24 including the Hon'ble Chief Justice and 5 Additional Judges. Each Judge including the Chief Justice is designated by the President of India by warrant under his hand and seal. Each changeless Judge proceeds in office until he achieves the age of 62 years. The Additional Judges are designated for a period not surpassing two years checking the interim increment in the business or overdue debts of work of the High Court. Such Judges might likewise not hold office in the wake of accomplishing the age of 62 years.
