Job notification in Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) for 181 Trade Apprentice Posts.Eligible candidates can apply online from 04-10-2016 at 1400 hrs to 20-10-2016 at 2359 hrs


Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI): 131 Posts
Trade Apprentice (Fresher): 50 Posts
Candidates age should be between 14-25 years for Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI) post & 14-20 years for Trade Apprentice (Fresher) post as on 01-10-2016. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL) and 10 years for PH as per Govt. Rules.
Candidates should have passed All India Trade Test (AITT) for Craftsmen Training Scheme and possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Govt. of India in concerned trade for Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI) post & 10th standard/ Madhyamik or equivalent examination from recognized Central/ State Board for Trade Apprentice (Fresher) post.
Selection will be based on merit.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the website www.grse.nic.in or https://jobapply.in/grse2016 from 04-10-2016 at 1400 hrs to 20-10-2016 at 2359 hrs & send hard copy of online application along with all relevant documents to In-charge (TTC), Technical Training Centre, GRSE Ltd, 5 Dr. R. N. Tagore Road (Near Dunlop Bridge), Kolkata- 700056 on or before 28-10-2016. The envelope containing the application should be super-scribed with ?APP:01/16″ and ?Application No.?

About GRSE Limited:
The journey began in 1884, with a small factory on the Eastern Bank of river Hooghly. It was named as Garden Reach Workshop (GRW) in 1916. Later, on 19th April 1960, it was taken over by the Government of India. With diversification in engineering products the name was changed to Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd (GRSE) on 1st Jan 1977.There was no looking back and since then GRSE has delivered more than 600 vessels.GRSE has emerged as a leading shipyard of India, building a wide array of vessels, from world class Frigates to Fast Interceptor Boats. In keeping with the global trends, GRSE has embarked upon modernization of its infrastructural facilities. On 5th Sep 2006, GRSE got the status of Mini Ratna- Category I.
