GBPUAT Recruitment 2016 - for Project Assistant & Senior Research Fellow Posts

Job notification in G.B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) for the recruitment of Project Assistant & Senior Research Fellow vacancies under different projects & departments on temporary & contractual basis. Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed application format on or before 25-12-2016 for S.No-01, 27-12-2016 for S.No-02.


Project Assistant: 01 Post
Senior Research Fellow: 02 Posts

Candidates should possess B.Sc Agriculture/ B.Sc Science with 02 years experience in field of Agriculture with good knowledge of computer for S.No-01, M.Sc in Agril. Ext. & Comm./ Extension Edu./ Home Sci. Ext./ Agril Journalism/ Mass Communication for S.No-02.
Selection will be based on interview
For S.No-01: Eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed format along with required documents & passport size photograph by post to Dr. D. K. Singh, Professor & PI-ILSP, Department of Vegetable Science, College of Agriculture, GBPUA&T, Pantnagar-263145 or email to dks1233@gmail.com on or before 25-12-2016.

For S.No-02: Eligible candidates can send their application giving information such as name, fathers name, permanent address, date of birth, qualification (from high school onwards, giving details about year of passing, division, percentage of marks, name of university), experience, duly supported by copies of testimonials & one passport size photographs must be affixed right hand corner at the top of the application to the S. K. Kashyap, Professor & Head/ Project Coordinator, Department of Agricultural Communication, College of Agriculture, GBPUA&T, Pantnagar-263145 on or before 27-12-2016.

About GBPUAT: 
G.B.Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUA and T, Pantnagar University or just "Pantnagar") is the fundamental ordinary school of India.It was begun by Jawahar Lal Nehru on 17 November 1960 as the Uttar Pradesh Agricultural University (UPAU).Later the name was changed to Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in 1972 in memory of the huge open entryway contender Govind Ballabh Pant.The University was proclaimed as the best among the various State Universities in India, in 1997.The University lies in the grounds town of Pantnagar in the region of Udham Singh Nagar in the condition of Uttarakhand. The school is seen as the harbinger of Green Revolution in India.The first Education Commission of India (1949) headed by Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan proposed setting up country schools in India on American region honor model.
