Candidates upper age limit should be 45 years for Post 1, 2, 16, 32 years for Posts 3 to 12, 30 years for Posts 13 to 15 as on 05-11-2016. Age relaxation is applicable by 05 years for SC/ST category candidates, 03 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PWD candidates as per rules.
Candidates should possess Diploma in relevant discipline with 55% marks from recognized university for Post 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Intermediate or equivalent in CA/ ICWA for Post 3, Bachelor Degree and Diploma in relevant discipline for post 4, 12, 13, 14, 15, Master Degree (M.Sc.) in
Chemistry for Post 11, Bachelor degree for post 16 with relevant experience.
Candidates will be selected based on Physical Endurance Test, GD, Trade Test, Skill Test, Written Test, interview.

About Gas Authority of India Limited:
GAIL (India) Ltd was incorporated in August 1984 as a Central Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoP and NG).The company was initially given the responsibility of construction, operation and maintenance of the Hazira - Vijaypur -Jagdishpur (HVJ) pipeline Project.It was one of the largest cross-country natural gas pipeline projects in the world.Originally this 1800 Km long pipeline was built at a cost of Rs 1700 Crores and it laid the foundation for development of market for natural Gas in India. GAIL, after having started as a natural gas transmission company during the late eighties, has grown organically by building large network of Natural Gas Pipelines covering over 9500 Km with a capacity of around 172 MMSCMD; two LPG Pipelines covering 2040 Km with a capacity of 3.3 MMTPA of LPG.
