District Rural Development Agency(DRDA),Giridih (Jharkhand) has announced notification for the recruitment of 59 Block Programme Officer, Technical Assistant, Accounts Assistant & Computer Assistant vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply online from 02-08-2017 to 19-08-2017.


Total No. of Posts: 59
Name of the Post:
1. Block Programme Officer: 12 posts
2. Technical Assistant (Equivalent to the Assistant Engineer): 13 posts
3. Technical Assistant (Equivalent to the Junior Engineer): 25 posts
4. Computer Assistant: 05 posts
5. Accounts Assistant: 04 posts.
Candidates maximum age should be between 18 to 35 years for Unreserved, 37 years for BC/ EBC, 38 years for Women candidates of UR, BC & EBC, 40 years for ST/ SC candidates (Male & Female) as on 31-05-2017. Refer the notification for complete details.
Candidates should possess Degree with any subject for Post No.1, B.E./ B.Tech in Civil for Post No.2, Diploma in Civil for Post No.3, B.Sc. (Computer Honours)/ B.Sc. (Computer General)/ B.C.A for Post No.4. B.Com (Honours)/ B.Com (General) for Post No.5.
Selection will be based on Written test/ Interview.
Candidates have to pay Rs.200/- for General category, Rs.100/- for EBC/ BC categories, Rs. 50/- for SC/ ST/ PH candidates through Bank draft in any Nationalized bank in favour of Deputy Development Commissioner, Giridih.Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.giridih.nic.in from 02-08-2017 to 19-08-2017 up to 05:00 PM & Send their Online printout along with self attested copies of all educational certificates/ mark sheets, caste & residence certificates to District Rural Development Agency (D.R.D.A.), Giridih on or before 26-08-2017 by Registered post.

Giridih District, an administrative district of Jharkhand has its headquarters at Giridih.It was carved out from Hazaribagh District on 4th Dec 1972. The district lies between 24degree 11minutes north latitude and 86 degree 18 minutes east longitude. Lying almost in the central part of the North Chota Nagpur Division, this district is bounded by Jamui District and part of Nawada district of Bihar in the north, by the districts of Deoghar and Jamtara on the east, by Dhanbad   Bokaro on the south  west by Hazaribagh  Kodarma.Giridih District is spread over an area of 4853.56 sq km.
