Job Notification in District Office, Mayurbhanj, for the recruitment of 105 TGT (Arts), TGT (Science) (PCM), TGT Science (CBZ), Sanaskrit Teacher, Hindi Teacher, PET, Junior Clerk cum DEO & Peon vacancies upgraded high schools, upgraded higher secondary school and other high school under ST & SC Development Department on contract basis. Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application on or before 03-06-2017 till 05:00 P.M. (Extended Up to 13-06-2017).

Candidates age limit should be between 21-32 years (Changed to 18-32 years for Post No. 07 & 08) as on 01-01-2017. Age relaxation is applicable to 05 years for SC/ ST/ SEBC/ Women candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates.
Candidates should possess Bachelors Degree in Arts/ Commerce with 02 school subject as honours/ elective/ pass/ optional from a recognised university having 50% marks in aggregate (45% for Sc/ ST/ SEBC/ PH candidates) and Bachelors in Education (B.Ed) from a NICTE recognised Institution or 04 years integrated BA/ B.Ed from a NICTE recognised Institution with 02 school subject as Honours/ elective/ pass/ optional having 50% marks in aggregate (45% for Sc/ ST/ SEBC/ PH candidates) for Post No. 01, +2 or its equivalent examination from a recognised institution with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for Sc/ ST/ SEBC/ PH candidates) abnd C.P.Ed/ B.P.Ed/ M.P.Ed from a recognised Board/ University for Post No. 06, Passed +2 Exam or equivalent with computer knowledge for Post No. 07, VIII Pass for Post No. 08 For more qualification details refer the notification.

Candidates should pay Rs. 200/- through original bank draft drawn in any nationalized bank in favour of the District Welfare Officer, Mayurbanj payable at SBI Main Branch, Baripada. No fee for Sc/ ST/ PWD candidates.

About Mayurbhanj District:

Mayurbhanj is a land locked district with a total geographical area of 10418 Sq.km. and is situated in the Northern boundary of the state with district headquarters at Baripada. The district is bounded in the North-East by Midnapure district of West Bengal, Singhbhum district of Jharkhand in the North-west, Baleshwar district in the South-East and by Kendujhar in the South-West. More than 39 % of total geographical area (4049 Sq.Km.) is covered with forest and hills. The district comprises of 4 numbers of Sub-divisions with 26 nos of blocks with 382 Gram Panchayats and 3945 villages.

The district comes under ?North Central Plateau agro-climatic region with an average rainfall of 1648.20 mm per annum. Being away from the coastal belt, the district experiences a sub-tropical climate with a hot summer, chilling winter with good precipitation. Red-laterite category of soil dominates all over the district including Bamanghati and Panchpir plateau.

Mayurbhanj occupies a unique position being endowed with lush green vegetation, different fauna and rich cultural heritage. The district has a rich mineral base and is home to the Similipal Biosphere. This was a princely state until its merger with the state of Odisha on 1st January,1949. Since the date of its merger, Mayurbhanj has been organized and is administered as one of the districts of Odisha.

Iron-ore (hematite), vanadiferous and titaniferous magnetic, chaina clay, galena (lead ore), Kyanite, asbestos, steatite (soap stone) and quartzite constitute the principal mineral resources of Mayurbhanj district, of these the iron-ore deposits of Gorumahisani, Badampahar and Suleipat, which have been exploited for a period of about half a century, deserve special mention.
