Candidate age should not be exceeding 40 years as on 01-07-2016.
Candidates should possess Graduation/ Post Graduation (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline & 2 years experience in the Field of Child related work for Post 1, 2, & 10th Standard (or) Plus two passed & One year experience in the field of child related work for Post 3.
Eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed format along with passport size photograph to District Child Protection Officer, District Child Protection unit, No.16A, Kandar School lane, Mohanur Road, Namakkal-637 001 on or before 01-09-2016 by 05:30 PM.

About District Collector Namakkal:
Namakkal District is a newly formed district from Salem District. It is functioning from 01-01-1997.It consists of 7 Taluks namely  Namakkal. Rasipuram, Tiruchengode , Paramathi Velur, KolliHills, Sendamangalam and Komarapalayam. The district is bounded by salem on the north, Karur on the south, Trichy and Salem on the east and Erode on the West.The Geographical area of the district is 3363, 35 K.m. Which lies between 11.00 and 11.360 North Latitute and 77.280 and 78.300 East Longitude.

For Administrative pruposes the district has been divided into 2 Revenue Divisions, 7 Taluks, 30 Revenue firkas . For local arrangements, the district has been divided into 5 Municipalities, 15 Panchayats  Unions,19 Town Panchayats and 322 Village Panchayats. Thiruvaraikkal as it is mentioned in the inscription found on the north west and south walls of the deserted temple on the Hill. Since it produces major part of Eggs sent to all over other parts of our country, and is also called Poultry Town as it contains quite a  number of poultry Farms And also now called as Egg City.
