About Dibrugarh University:
Dibrugarh University, the easternmost University of India was set up in 1965 under the procurements of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965 authorized by the Assam Legislative Assembly.It is an educating cum-affiliating University with constrained private offices. The University is arranged at Rajabheta at a separation of around five kilometers toward the south of the chief town of Dibrugarh in the eastern piece of Assam and also India.The University is situated in a grounds of 203 hectares out of which 74.3 hectares are under tea plantation.The University has regional ward more than seven areas of Upper Assam, viz. Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sibsagar, Golaghat, Lakhimpur and Dhemaji which are spread over both the banks of stream Brahmaputra.The land locale of the University covers 21,706 sq. m, which speaks the truth 28 percent of the aggregate geographic range of Assam.
