Candidates upper age limit should be 42 years for Sl No. A (a(01), c(01) & d(01)), 35 years for Sl No A (a(02), b(02) & d(02)), 32 years for Sl No A (a(03), b (03), c(03) & d(05)), 27 years for Sl No A (a(04) & b(04), C(04) & d(03)), 37 years for Sl No A (b(01)) and 40 years for Sl No. A (c(02) & d(04)) as on 30-04-2017.
Candidates should possess MBBS Degree, MD/ MS/ DM/ M.Ch Degree, valid registration
Eligible candidates submit their application along with documents of qualification, registration, Aadhar Card/ Pan Card/ Voter Card & relevant documents to the office of Director Health Services, Punjab, Chandigarh for PCMS Doctors, in the office of MD NRHM for other contractual service doctors under NRHM and to Dy Commssioners for Doctors under 5 years contractual service with State Govt & frsh candidates can apply directly to the Director Research & Medical Education, Punjab on or before 17-05-2017.

About Directorate of Research and Medical Education:

The Directorate of Research and Medical Education, Punjab was established in 1973. The main aim of this directorate is development of Medical Manpower, quality education in the field of medicine and preparation of specialist and super specialist doctors in the state to improve the health facilities and to give satisfactory facilities in the hospitals linked with the medical and dental colleges. To achieve this aim 3 Govt. Medical Colleges, 2 Govt. Dental Colleges, one Govt. Ayurvedic College, 2 Nursing Colleges and 6 hospitals Government Institutes are established in the State of Punjab.

Besides, 10 Medical Colleges, 16 Dental Colleges, 12  Ayurvedic, 4  Homeopathic, 9 Physiotherapy  and  a number of Nursing Colleges and schools are being run by the various welfare societies and trusts in private sector after getting NOC of Punjab Government.
