Candidates should possess Recognized Medical qualification included in the first or second or part-II of the third schedule, Post Graduate Degree in the Concerned Specialty Mentioned in Part-A of Annexure-II of its Equivalent Qualification, at least 5 years teaching experience as associate professor for Post 1
Candidates should possess at least 5 years teaching experience as assistant professor failing which 6 years combined experience as assistant professor and lecturer after doing post graduation degree in Concerned Specialty in any recognized medical college for Post 2.
Candidates should possess at least 3 years teaching experience a Lecturer/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/ Resident after doing post graduation in Concerned Specialty in any recognized medical college for Post 3.
Eligible candidates may appear for interview along with application in prescribed format,all the documents/certificates in support of educational qualifications,experience and publication in original along with one set of photo copies on 10-03-2017 to 30-03-2017 & 11-04-2017 at 11:00 AM.

The Government of Himachal Pradesh has created a separate and independent Directorate of Medical Education & Research in the year 1996-97. The main objective behind its creation/establishment was to integrate all Medical Education services i.e. Medical, Dental, Nursing & Para-Medical under the overall supervision/control of Deptt. of Medical Education & Research.
