Applicants age should minimum 18 years and maximum 70 years.Upper age limit is relaxable as per government rules for different categories.
Candidates should have Posses MBBS, PG Medical Degree (MD/ MS/DNB/ M.Ch/ DM/ M.Sc with Ph.D/MDS) in the concerned Disciplines recognised by MCI. For Posts wise details refer official notification.

The Department of Medical Education is the administrative department of state medical colleges and dental colleges located in the state. The department also manages the colleges affiliated to these colleges. The Department of Medical Education is very important in terms of providing human resources in the field of medicine and health. In addition, colleges affiliated to colleges also perform important functions of treatment of complex, serious and referred patients.

At the time of the independence of the country, only one medical college in Rajasthan was located in Jaipur, but today in Rajasthan 6 government, one is in the medical college of Jhalawar, 1 in Rajasthan Medical Science University, Joint Medical College in Jaipur and 8 private colleges in the private sector.
