Job notification in CSIR Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI) forthe recruitment of Project Assistant, Research Associate & Junior Research Fellow vacancies under different projects. Eligible candidates can attend for walk in interview on 23-12-2016 at 11:00 AM


Project Assistant-I: 01 Post
Research Associate-I: 01 Post
Project Assistant-II: 01 Post
Project Asst-II: 01 Post
JRF: 02 Posts
Candidates age should be 28 years for S.No-01 & 05, 36 years for S.No-02, 30 years for S.No-03 & 04 as on 01-11-2016. Upper age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women/ Physically Handicapped categories
Candidates should possess B.Sc in Chemistry/ Diploma in Ceramics with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/ DGPA for S.No-01, Ph.D (Science i.e., Physics/ Chemistry)/ Engineering (i.e., in Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/ Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering/ Ceramic Engineering/ Materials Engineering)/ Tech. (i.e., in Materials Technology/ Ceramic Technology/ Nanotechnology) for S.No-02, M.Sc in Chemistry (Inorganic/ Physical) with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/ DGPA for S.No-03 & 04, BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Ceramic/ Metallurgy/ Materials/ Production/ Laser Science/ Laser Engg./ Laser Tech/ Laser & Electrical Engg or equivalent with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/ DGPA for S.No-05.
Selection will be based on interview.
Eligible candidates can attend for walk in interview along with application & bio-data in the prescribed format, duly typed (not hand-written) in all the columns enclosing self attested copies of each supporting documents/ certificates, original certificates for verification & copies of project thesis (if any) on 23-12-2016 at 11:00 AM. About CGCRI: 
Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI) at first proposed to be named at the present time and Silicate Research Institute is one of the introductory four labs was set up under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the other three being National Chemical Laboratory,Pune; National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi and Central Fuel Research Institute, Dhanbad.Even anyway it started working in a compelled way in 1944, the Institute was formally started on August 26, 1950.At the beginning stages a vast bit of the work was facilitated towards perceiving suitable mineral resources within the country and their suitability for specific thing development.The quality control points in glass and imaginative got due thought just like the work on glass surrounding machines and glass-lined apparatus.
