Applicants age should be 27 to 45 years for Unreserved category, 48 years for BC/ EBC/ Women candidates, 50 years for SC/ ST candidates as on 01-08-2016.
Candidates should possess B.A.M.S. Degree (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) & PG in relevant subject.
Basis of Merit and Interview.
Applicant required to pay fee Rs. 75/- (Including Bank charges) for SC/ ST & PH candidates and Rs. 150/- (Including Bank charges) for all other categories candidates of Bihar State through challan at any branch of State bank of India Ac/ No. 31650243410. Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format with self attested copies of Matric (for birth proof), B.A.M.S. Degree (certificate & mark list), PG (Ayurvedic) & Internship certificates SC/ ST/ PH certificates, Bank Challan (Original) & necessary documents & must be affixed Rs.40/- self addressed postal stamp (16 x 10 cm) on top of the envelope to the Special Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations, Bihar Public Service Commission, 15, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg (Beli Road), Patna - 800001 on or before 24-10-2017.

About BPSC :

The Bihar Public Service Commission came into existence from 1st April 1949 after its separation from the Commission for the States of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh, in accordance with sub-section (1) of section 261 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted. Its constitutional status was pronounced with the promulgation of Constitution of India on 26th January, 1950. It is a Constitutional Body under Article 315 of the Constitution of India.
