Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), once in the past Marathwada University, is situated in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Republic of India. It is named after Bharat Ratna "Babasaheb" Ambedkar, an Indian legal scholar, political pioneer, scholastic and the boss planner of the Indian Constitution. This college was built up fundamentally on the activity of Babasaheb Ambedkar in order to fill the colossal lacuna of advanced education offices in western Vidarbh, Marathwada and North maharashtra region.The college was set up on August 23, 1958.It is one of the most seasoned head college set up by Maharashtra state government after Mumbai and Pune Universities.This college has added to the advancement of abutting areas and individuals in multitudinous ways.Since its origin, the college has around 404 schools associated to it, which go under four regions (Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad) of Maharashtra State.
