Principal Scientist
Candidates age should not have attained 52 years for as on 20-12-2016.
Candidates should possess Doctoral degree Floriculture and Landscaping or Horticulture/ Agriculture Entomology/ Microbiology/Agricultural Microbiology/ Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Doctoral degree in relevant basic sciences with specialization in Floriculture and Landscaping with relevant experience. Selected candidates will be selected based on interview.

About The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) 
The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) was built up on 1 November 1973 as an autonomous enrollment office in compatibility of the proposals of the Gajendragadkar Committee.Mandate? Recruitment to posts in the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of the ICAR and to such different posts and administrations that the President, ICAR, may determine from time to time.? Rendering such different aids to the Council in work force matters, including advancement, as might be required by the President, ICAR.? Advising the Council on disciplinary matters identifying with faculty enlisted through ASRB or selected by the Council in conference with the Board.? Recruitment to section level logical places of the ARS through an All-India Competitive Examination.? Induction of existing researchers of the ICAR to ARS under the underlying constitution of ARS.? Assessment for legitimacy advancement and concede of propel augmentations to researchers of the ARS.? To lead National Eligibility Test, which is an essential for the underlying enlistment as Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the State Agricultural Universities.? Recruitment to posts in the Combined units of Administrative Officers/Finance and Accounts Officers of the ICAR which are required to be filled by direct enlistment.
